I am a certified trainer at the National Tennis and former Top 20 player in New England, so I feel particularly well suited to answer your question.
Hitting a tennis ball with topspin, the racket has more in 2 directions at once: at the front and much more.
The more you follow on your journey to the top sooner you topsoin the ball
However, there is an old adage: "Be careful. You can get what they wanted."
In this particular case is not lifted too well. In fact, the balls hit with topspin, not too far in advance of travel and not very convincingly.
Instead, try to hit the ball with the right balance forward and up. This topspin the ball will be enough to improve their chances to enter and dominate the ball and penetrating enough to his opponents.
You gotta go with a poly-string, such as Big Banger strings. www.luxilon.com for details. Federer and Nadal, the use of this material. Ball breaks late, but has definitely down when they hit with topspin (as always, brush the ball low to high to generate topspin - only this channel more "to handle". Feel less synthetic gut. Some of them including myself, use the Big Bang in the long chain of topspin, and feeling synthetic gut strings on the horizontal. polymer chains are very stiff, so if you have a bad elbow and shoulder, can not be for you.
Hold the racket strings, face down in the ascent. Thus, a force is to "trace" with the head of the racket before the ball contact. They generate a lot of topspin and power. Good luck at tryouts!
My coach told me that one of the best ways to make his forehand topspin, the same technique you would use for a glass of water on the right side of the left foot (if right handed) is pour. But of course you should be your swing from the bottom up. If you play tennis on television, whenever you see one of the convicted person, only the replay, they show changes in the slow movement, especially when the shot was near the net fired!
Very simple. But I will not go into details because I could write a book. To give you the source, and you can go the tennis coach.
Use the handle of the Western forehand topspin and transition to a standard socket for the rear.
Consideration of the ball. Take a broom, someone to hold the hair in front of them, and brush your hair. It's the same movement of topspin.
